SRTIP issues the following types of business licenses for free zone businesses:

Industrial License

An industrial license is necessary for businesses engaged in activities such as the manufacture of machinery, transformation of natural materials, metals manufacturing, textiles, food and beverage, etc.

Service License

You can provide specialized services like consulting, investing, and banking, with a service license.

Trading License

A trading license is issued for business activities involving import and export of goods locally within the UAE as well as across the border.

How to obtain a UAE residency visa through an SRTIP license?

1. As the first step of your residence visa application, we will file an application for the company establishment card. Your establishment card will be issued within a few working days.
2. We will complete the e-channel registration process. This process is mandatory for a free zone company formation in Sharjah.
3. We will file an application for your e-visa. An e-visa is necessary for you to enter the UAE or for an in-country change of status.
4. If you are outside the UAE, you are required to enter the UAE before your e-visa expires. Once you arrive in the UAE, your e-visa will be stamped, and you need to share this stamped copy with us. If you are already in the UAE, a change of status will be done, and we will assist you with this.
5. We will assist you with the medical test procedure that involves a blood test and chest x-ray.
6. Your fingerprints, photo, and signature will be collected at a government centre for biometrics.
7. If you require a health insurance plan, we will assist you in finding a suitable package.
8. The final step before your Emirates ID issuance is the visa approval process. If you wish, you can request an urgent service for fast-tracking the visa approval process. However, the availability of this service is subject to the authorities at SRTIP.
9. Your Emirates ID will be issued.

First Step Hi-Tech Office

An office space option specifically designed for start-up businesses less than three years old.

Maktabi (Co-Working Space)

Avail three desks with access to meeting rooms and facilities like free wi-fi and on-site parking.

SME Office

Avail a 20-27sqm fully furnished office with four to six desks.

Ecosystem Office

A fully furnished dedicated office with a floor area of 50-80 sqm. Under this option, you are eligible for allocation of more than 10 visas.

Innovation Office

With this option, businesses can lease the open area space at SRTIP HQ at a modest charge of AED 800/sqm.

Innovation Plot

SRTIP offers plots for developing projects within the premises at competitive lease rates.

• Latest UAE entry stamp/visit visa copy
• Residence visa copy and Emirates ID of the shareholder(s) and manager(s) (for UAE residents)

• Memorandum of Association (MOA) and Article of Association (AOA)
• Trade license (for an existing company)
